Aquarium of the Pacific Trip

So for Auntie Sara's birthday we all took a trip to the Long Beach Aquarium, it was Cole's first time and he loved it! I knew he would, because we took him to Sea World this past summer and he had blast. At this aquarium they had the birds that you can feed and I was excited because when we were at the Wild Animal Park in San Diego Cole slept through that entire exhibit and I was sad...I knew he would have loved it. So this was our second chance to show him. Again, here are some more photos from our trip. :-)

Thanksgiving Post

Yes, I know its a few days away from Christmas and I am finally making a post about Thanksgiving, but I thought it was about time and that I had put it off long enough. And the last thing I needed was the behind on the Thanksgiving post and having a new Christmas one to do as well.....

So, our Thanksgiving, was just another ordinary Thanksgiving. Sean's dad and sister came over with her son. And we all ate turkey and pie and played on the Wii, Cole played with his cousin Drake and had a blast....oh and we can't forget the "chemical" incident....lets just say, luckily no one was hurt.....But here are some quickie photos from Thanksgiving day. It's always nice when the family gets together! :-)

Quick Update!

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update and of course, more photos of Cole.  Last Saturday we took Cole to a birthday party at chuck-e-cheese, and although he has been there before this was the first time he could actually enjoy it.  He was running around and usually ended up at the skiball game....That seemed to be his favorite.  Also, he went poo-poo on the potty for the first time Tuesday, but has yet to do it again.  I am not forcing the potty training because he is still young, but I just wanted to start introducing the idea for now.  I was so proud of him!  :-)  Other than that things around here have been pretty much the same.  Sean working Mon-Fri and going to school Mon-Thrus, and of course myself, staying home with Cole and babysitting.  

I've started writing out a Christmas list for gifts for people and hope to start shopping within the next couple weeks and hopefully getting most of it finished.  I love Christmas time, but I definitely do not love the crowds that come along with it when trying to shop.

Halloween Weekend

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all had a great Halloween and got filled up on lots of fattening candy!  (I know I did...)  Cole had a great time being able to go out "Trick-or-Treating" this year with his cousin, Drake, and his Auntie Sara and Mommy and Daddy!  We went around our neighborhood and then drove over to where Cole's Nana lives and trick-or-treated there for a little while.  Sadly Halloween seems like a dying holiday, there weren't many people out on the streets and a very select few houses that were decorated or handing out candy.  So Sad.  Unless...there is some secret neighborhood that everyone goes to?  Anyone know? ha ha.  Anyways, needless to say Cole and Drake looked absolutely adorable, but that's an obvious because they are just gorgeous to begin with.  Auntie Sara dressed up as a cowgirl and Sean and I put on the hat and jersey that we had bought from Disneyland (Pirates of the Caribbean ride gift shop) so we could match Cole, our little pirate, and Drake was Buzz Lightyear.  We had a blast, it was a great evening and even carried over to Saturday because Auntie Sara and Drake spent the night.  Got some amazing photos of the boys together, they are just smitten over each other, best buds for sure!
