Quick Update!

Just wanted to give everyone a quick update and of course, more photos of Cole.  Last Saturday we took Cole to a birthday party at chuck-e-cheese, and although he has been there before this was the first time he could actually enjoy it.  He was running around and usually ended up at the skiball game....That seemed to be his favorite.  Also, he went poo-poo on the potty for the first time Tuesday, but has yet to do it again.  I am not forcing the potty training because he is still young, but I just wanted to start introducing the idea for now.  I was so proud of him!  :-)  Other than that things around here have been pretty much the same.  Sean working Mon-Fri and going to school Mon-Thrus, and of course myself, staying home with Cole and babysitting.  

I've started writing out a Christmas list for gifts for people and hope to start shopping within the next couple weeks and hopefully getting most of it finished.  I love Christmas time, but I definitely do not love the crowds that come along with it when trying to shop.

Halloween Weekend

Hey Everyone,

Hope you all had a great Halloween and got filled up on lots of fattening candy!  (I know I did...)  Cole had a great time being able to go out "Trick-or-Treating" this year with his cousin, Drake, and his Auntie Sara and Mommy and Daddy!  We went around our neighborhood and then drove over to where Cole's Nana lives and trick-or-treated there for a little while.  Sadly Halloween seems like a dying holiday, there weren't many people out on the streets and a very select few houses that were decorated or handing out candy.  So Sad.  Unless...there is some secret neighborhood that everyone goes to?  Anyone know? ha ha.  Anyways, needless to say Cole and Drake looked absolutely adorable, but that's an obvious because they are just gorgeous to begin with.  Auntie Sara dressed up as a cowgirl and Sean and I put on the hat and jersey that we had bought from Disneyland (Pirates of the Caribbean ride gift shop) so we could match Cole, our little pirate, and Drake was Buzz Lightyear.  We had a blast, it was a great evening and even carried over to Saturday because Auntie Sara and Drake spent the night.  Got some amazing photos of the boys together, they are just smitten over each other, best buds for sure!

Cole's First Bike Ride

Yesterday I hooked up Cole's bike 'trailer' to my bike and took him for his very first bike ride.  He loved it, from the moment we pulled out of the garage and got going he was saying "whoa", "Hiii"and "bye" constantly and even doing his little chuckle he does when he is having a good time.  It was so cute to hear him behind me just enjoying himself...We went and visited his grandma and she helped shorten the pants on his halloween costume and we took a couple of photos with him in his costume.  After that we started heading home before it got too dark.  I took a couple more photos of him in his trailer after our ride, he just looked too cute with his helmet on.  :-)   I'll save the photos of him in his costume for after Halloween and when he goes trick-or-treating because I am sure we will have tons more!
